The Kitchener camp propaganda magazine reproduced here was published by the Kitchener Camp Committee, of which Sir Robert Whaley Cohen was the Chair. Harry Sacher (Director of Marks and Spencer) and Norman Bentwich were also committee members, as was Frank Samuel (Managing Director at Unilever, which guaranteed all the camp’s dry goods, such as porridge oats and soap – see Ungerson, 2014, p. 34).
